ITI Students to sit Exams online

In line with public health advice and in order to protect the health and wellbeing of our students, the Irish Tax Institute has decided that CTA and Tax Technician exams, due to take place in August, will now be completed online.

The Institute is delighted to announce that it will use a world leading platform that will enable students to sit their exams in safety from a remote location while also protecting the integrity of the assessment process. The exams will be invigilated remotely and recorded using the camera in the student’s device to protect the integrity, rigour and security of the process. All students due to sit the exams have been informed by email about the development.

“We will give students ample opportunity to familiarise themselves with the assessment platform by practising sample past exam questions in the weeks leading up to the exams. Our team will also provide demonstrations to ensure students fully understand how to use the platform,” explained Martina O’Brien, Director of Education at the Institute.

“Our primary concern is for the wellbeing of our students. This online solution protects them while allowing them to progress their career in tax.”
