The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and accomplished Tax Senior Professional to lead our Tax Compliance function as part of our financial services business in Dublin. As part of the global expansion of the Maples Group’s financial services offering, our Dublin office opened its doors in 2006. As part of our Dublin team you will be performing below key duties:
Key duties:
- Responsibility for leading the tax compliance function • Managing and mentoring team members
- Managing client entity Revenue interactions, including Revenue audits
- Responsibility for managing the overall tax compliance billing process, preparation of annual budgets and monthly reporting on performance to the Executive Management Committee
- Monitoring tax developments and advising team members in respect of same, including providing training as appropriate
- Relationship management with clients, legal and tax advisors, auditors and other key parties
- Leading client proposals and oversight of the on-boarding of new clients
- Review of Irish Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE and Investment Undertaking Tax returns
- Coordinating relevant FATCA, CRS and Country-by-Country Reporting filing obligations
- Oversight of team to ensure all tax returns are filed and tax payments are made in a timely and accurate manner
- 8 years+ Financial Services Tax experience, currently operating at Senior Tax Manager or Director level
- AITI/CTA or CTC qualification needed (ACA/ACCA qualification as a plus)
- Experience managing a team
