What will the role involve?

Due to our continued growth, Taxkey is excited to recruit a Senior Tax Manager on a full time basis. Flexible working arrangements will be accommodated for the right candidate.

We are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Chartered Tax Advisor to lead and develop our growing tax team.

Reporting to the firm’s owner, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing our team and providing strategic tax planning advice for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute a wide range of tax planning assignments for our corporate and personal clients. Our work covers all tax heads, with a particular focus on capital taxes and VAT;
  • Mentor and lead other team members, fostering their professional development and growth;
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor on tax matters;
  • Collaborate with other professional advisors (accountants, legal advisors, financial advisors) to provide integrated solutions to meet our clients’ objectives;
  • Represent Taxkey in meetings with clients, tax authorities and other external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of technical knowledge within the practice.

Key Skills

 The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Qualified Chartered Tax Consultant (CTA) with at least 5 years PQE working in a practice role advising on complex tax consultancy assignment across all tax heads, in particular capital taxes and VAT;
  • Experience advising private and SME clients;
  • In‐depth knowledge and hands on experience in interpreting Irish tax legislation, relevant commentary and case law;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail;
  • Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues;
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities, with experience leading and developing teams;
  • Excellent organizational and planning capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively;
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development;
  • Excellent computer‐literacy skills
