MARK BARRETT is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with RDJ. He has worked in tax roles in both industry and practice and has advised Irish and multinational clients on a wide range of tax matters. Mark is a past President of the Irish Tax Institute and a member and past chair of Main TALC. Mark is co-author of the Institute's publication, Revenue Audits and Investigations – The Professional’s Handbook.


SUSAN BUGGLE is a Principal in the International Tax group in KPMG with over 15 years’ experience both with KPMG and in a tax director role in industry. She advises a diverse range of Irish headquartered and multinational clients on Irish and international tax across all sectors. She has significant experience in international tax, intellectual property planning, complex financing transactions and group reorganisations. She has extensive M&A experience advising on the structuring of complex Irish and international acquisitions, leading due diligence assignments and post deal integration. Susan is a member of the firm’s FDI team advising multinational groups on their foreign direct investment into Ireland. Susan has a BComm and Master of Accounting from UCD. She is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland.


AMANDA-JAYNE COMYN BL is a Director of Circulo and a barrister and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with over 25 years’ experience. Amanda-Jayne’s legal and tax expertise includes advising on all aspects and types of transactions for both corporates and their shareholders together with advising private clients on succession, estate and retirement planning and Revenue interventions. She is also a stamp duty expert and co-author of Bloomsbury’s Irish Law of Stamp Duty. In addition, she is co-author and editor of Corporate Transactions: Tax and Legal Issues published by the Irish Tax Institute. Amanda-Jayne regularly speaks at conferences and sit on committees across multiple professional organisations and is the editor of the Irish Tax Review.


KIERAN COUGHLAN is a specialist in farm tax advice and is Principal at Coughlan Accounting & Taxation Services Limited. Kieran is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and Fellow of ACCA. Kieran is an active member of the Irish Tax Institute and has lectured extensively for the Institute and other colleges. Kieran is a regular columnist with the Irish Examiner on farming tax and finance issues. Kieran is an active qualified farmer having trained at Clonakilty Agricultural College.


KEVIN DONOVAN is a Senior Tax Manager in Baker Tilly. His expertise lies in corporate tax advisory services for both domestic and international clients. Kevin’s specialises in guiding the expansion of Irish domestic operations and structuring Irish operations for international entities across a variety of industries. He also specialises in advising on Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) issues for clients in the construction sector, focusing particularly on the complexities faced by international companies setting up construction and related operations in Ireland. Kevin is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).


GRÁINNE DUGGAN SC is a specialist Tax Counsel with extensive experience in providing legal, advocacy and advisory services across all areas of tax. Gráinne frequently appears in tax cases before the Tax Appeals Commission and the Superior Courts. She also provides comprehensive and strategic tax advice, tailored to each client’s own circumstances. Gráinne is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and a trust and estate practitioner (TEP). She has published articles on tax law in the Irish Tax Review, TaxPoint and the Law Society Gazette. Gráinne is also a regular speaker at tax and probate conferences.


EIMEAR FOX is a Tax Director in Deloitte’s Global Employer Services (GES) practice, specialising in Employment Taxes. Eimear has almost 20 years of experience, gained both in practice and industry, leading teams in the delivery of employment tax solutions and managing tax controversy. Eimear advises on a range of employment tax projects including PAYE reviews/health checks, workforce reduction projects, Revenue audits and on advisory projects relating to employee expenses and benefits. Eimear is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.


JAMES FOX is a Partner in the Indirect Tax team of EY, heading up the team in Munster. He advises on indirect tax matters on behalf of multinational and indigenous companies on both domestic and international tax issues. James previously trained in indirect tax with another Big 4 company prior to joining EY in 2015. James is a Law and Accounting graduate of University of Limerick and hold a Masters in Accounting from Dublin City University and is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and member of Chartered Accountants Ireland. James has lectured for the ITI on various Indirect tax matters for both students and CTA members and has extensive experience in this area. James was Chair of the Cork Society of Chartered Accountants Ireland 2023/2024.


YANN HARRISON is the Managing Director of Highfield Private Clients. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, a Chartered Tax Consultant, Qualified Financial Adviser, Retirement Planning Advisor, and a Trust and Estate Practitioner. He specialises in estate and succession planning, corporate reconstructions, business structuring, pre- and post-retirement planning, and pension-technical consultancy.


AILEEN KEOGAN is the Principal of Keogan Law & Tax, a Solicitor, Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), TEP and a Council Member of the Irish Tax Institute since 2018. Her practice focuses on wills, trusts and estate planning for individuals and businesses, including as a consultant to solicitors and accountants, and cross-border succession advice. Aileen has written and lectured extensively in succession planning, including her co-authorship of The Law & Taxation of Trusts published by Tottels, and her annual edit of the CAT section of the Law of CAT, Stamp Duty and LPT published by ITI. Aileen is currently the vice chair of the Law Society’s Probate, Administration and Trusts committee and their representative at TALC Capital Taxes, and vice chair of the STEP Ireland committee representing Ireland in STEP Europe.


AIDAN LUCEY is a Tax Partner in PwC's Tax Risk and Controversy practice, leading the firm's tax risk and Revenue interventions offering with almost 20 years of experience. Aidan also works with organisations to proactively manage their tax risk through the development of their tax control framework and tax transparency strategy. He is PwC's global tax CSRD leader. Aidan sits on Revenue's TALC Audit Subcommittee, where he engages with Revenue on audit and compliance policy matters. Aidan is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), Council Member of the Institute and is co-author of the Institute's publication, Revenue Audits and Investigations – The Professional’s Handbook.


BRENDAN MURPHY is a Tax Partner with Baker Tilly. He specialises in tax advisory services to corporates of all sizes including advising on group restructuring, financing structures, IP planning, M&A and international expansion and to individuals and shareholders on business exit, succession and expansion. Brendan has over 15 years’ experience working as a tax adviser and is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland (ACA) and holds diplomas in deferred tax and international tax.


CLIVE REYNOLDS has over 25 years’ experience in the private client area with extensive focus on providing advice on pensions, investment policy and estate and financial planning solutions to individuals and companies. Prior to founding Rose Private, he held senior positions in a number of financial services related companies. Clive holds a n MSc in Financial Services from University College Dublin. Clive is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners, a Fellow of the Life Assurance Association and a Certified Financial Planner CFP®. Clive is co-author of the Institute’s publication Pensions Revenue Law and Practice.


PETER VALE is a Partner in International Tax in Grant Thornton. He works predominantly with large corporate groups, both headquartered in Ireland and overseas. Peter’s primary role with his clients is ensuring that their operations are structured as tax efficiently as possible. He also advises clients on significant transactions, such as property acquisitions, asset sales or disposals and Intellectual Property (IP) migrations, providing advice on valuable tax incentives and reliefs aimed at attracting IP to Ireland, including tax allowances, R&D tax credits and the KDB. In his role as Co-Leader of the Global firm’s cross border tax planning practice, Peter works with many of the Grant Thornton member firms on cross border transactions. Peter is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) Fellow of the Irish Tax Institute and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
