Stress at work is now widely understood to affect not just the individual but the quality of outcomes and the costs of running a business. Developed by the LifeMatters Academy, the Stress Management and Resilience Training (SMART) Programme is an evidence-based health and well-being programme that has been proven to help manage day-to-day stresses and pressure at work and at home.

The SMART framework, evidence-based tools and techniques will help you to answer questions like:

  1. How can I avoid worry, panic and anxiety?
  2. I have so much on the go at the same time – how can I manage the juggle?
  3. I don’t want to disappoint people but how can I say no?
  4. How can I manage my perfectionist tendencies and get on with things?
  5. What can I do to improve sleep and prevent burnout?

You will leave with techniques to help you:

  • Hold your head when it matters most e.g. negotiating, advocating for your client/employer or managing a crisis
  • Keep a clear head for decision-making
  • Use emotional intelligence and healthy thinking to become a better adviser, boss and colleague
  • Increase productivity and organisational resilience
