Annual Dinner 2024

With the Wild Atlantic Way providing the perfect backdrop, we welcomed nearly 1,000 guests to the Annual Dinner 2024 at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.

Guests from our member firms, the Oireachtas, Government departments, Revenue, State bodies, academia and the media, joined us for one of the Institute’s flagship events of the year. Our Guest of Honour, Minister for Finance, Michael McGrath TD delivered a keynote address where he committed to introducing substantial income tax package in the next Budget to address the need to remain competitive in a post Pillar Two world. Read the Minister’s full speech here.

The backdrop hinted to elements of our President, Tom Reynolds, life. Tom was born in Carrick-on-Shannon at one end of the Wild Atlantic Way and now lives at the other end in Ballinskelligs, Kerry. The significance does not end there. Tom ran the whole route, passing the 200 discovery points, in just 35 days. That equates to two marathons a day! You can read the President’s speech here.

Thank you to all our guests for creating an electric atmosphere and a memorable evening. We look forward to welcoming you again at our upcoming events and the Annual Conference. View photos from the evening here.
