Why KTA?
KTA is a market leading, boutique firm of experienced private client tax advisers. The firm is based on Merrion Square in Dublin 2 and specialises in providing the highest quality tax advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and their families. Our priorities in terms of client service are accessibility, responsiveness and technical excellence communicated to clients in a simple and straightforward way.
KTA is focused on tailoring bespoke tax solutions, and the trainee role offers exposure to stimulating and interesting tax assignments to develop excellent on-the-job skills and experience, to complement the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification with the Irish Taxation Institute (ITI).
What Does it Involve?
If commencing as a trainee, the position involves tax compliance work at the outset to develop basic tax knowledge. Tax trainees are assigned a block of clients and, with the support of senior staff, are responsible for completing tax returns and ensuring that all compliance matters are kept up to date.
You will move onto advisory work as you gain experience and responsibility will increase over time. As your skills develop you will be exposed to increasingly complex tax work and your interaction with clients, government agencies and other professional services firms will increase.
We will provide you with full support as you undertake the CTA exams to include the cost of exams, and study leave. We are focused on continuous training and development, both in-house and externally, to ensure that KTA staff maintain technical excellence.
