Annual Conference 2024: Tax Challenges, Client Scenarios – Piecing it all Together

On Friday 19 April, Institute President, Tom Reynolds, extended a warm welcome to over 370 CTAs attending the Institute’s Annual Conference in Galway. There was a fantastic atmosphere in The Galmont Hotel over the two days with delegates connecting and reconnecting while absorbing first-class technical presentations. In his opening comments, the President spoke about the dynamic nature of tax, and noted how the pace and complexity of change in tax laws over the last decade is putting significant pressure on the tax profession.

The focus of the conference was the current tax challenges and their application to real-life client scenarios, with the aim to bring attendees up to speed with the latest raft of changes in tax law and administration.
