This senior tax technical role offers a unique opportunity to a CTA to showcase and hone their knowledge across all tax heads while interacting with a network of top-tier professionals, including expert speakers, authors, and contributors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Tax Manager will report directly to the Director of Professional Services and their responsibilities will include:
- Management of the tax technical elements of the Institute’s continuing professional development (CPD) offerings including planning and liaising with speakers regarding technical content and reviewing CPD materials.
- Tax technical input into flagship CPD events including the Annual Conference and Finance Bill/Act offerings.
- Collaborate with external subject matter experts to create and refine the tax technical content of our post-qualification structured training programs, including key Certificate and Diploma courses.
- Supporting the Irish Tax Review Board and production team in their planning and management of the tax technical content of the online journal.
- Involvement in other strategic tax technical projects as guided by the Director of Professional Services.
Qualities
We're looking for a dynamic team member who possesses:
- CTA Qualification: A CTA qualification with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
- Tax Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge across all tax heads, with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex tax concepts clearly.
- Ambition and Enthusiasm: A proactive and enthusiastic approach, with experience working effectively within a team.
- Project Management: The ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines with ease.
