Tax Semi-Senior/Trainee Role

MGI Ryan are a well-established mid-tier firm seeking a Tax Semi-Senior/Trainee for our Tax Department. The role provides an excellent opportunity for personal progression as part of a growing and dynamic professional services team.

The Role

  • Provision of compliance (predominantly income tax) to a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Liaise with clients and advise on all relevant tax issues.
  • Organise the work schedule to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Attend client meetings, maintain and develop client relationships.
  • Liaise with Revenue Commissioners.
  • Participation with senior team members in tax advisory projects.

The Person

  • Commenced AITI/CTA exam programme
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in a small to medium accountancy firm.
  • Experience of income tax compliance for a block of professional clients
  • Motivated and capable of working on their own initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational, technical and analytical skills.
  • Experience with tax return software, Excel, Word and ROS.
