MGI Ryan are a well-established mid-tier firm seeking a Tax Semi-Senior/Trainee for our Tax Department. The role provides an excellent opportunity for personal progression as part of a growing and dynamic professional services team.

The Role
- Provision of compliance (predominantly income tax) to a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Liaise with clients and advise on all relevant tax issues.
- Organise the work schedule to ensure deadlines are met.
- Attend client meetings, maintain and develop client relationships.
- Liaise with Revenue Commissioners.
- Participation with senior team members in tax advisory projects.
The Person
- Commenced AITI/CTA exam programme
- Minimum 1 year work experience in a small to medium accountancy firm.
- Experience of income tax compliance for a block of professional clients
- Motivated and capable of working on their own initiative.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organisational, technical and analytical skills.
- Experience with tax return software, Excel, Word and ROS.
