Tax Trainee Positions Available:
We are currently recruiting Tax Trainees to join our busy tax team at Andersen – a brief description of the role and requirements is set out below:
Responsibilities:
- Assistance with preparation of payroll and payroll tax filings.
- Assistance with preparation of VAT computations and returns.
- Assistance with preparation of income tax computations and returns.
- Assistance with preparation of corporation tax computations and returns.
- Assistance with tax registrations.
- Assistance with various tax related tasks as required by the firm.
- Supporting the tax manager with tax deadlines
- Dealing with ongoing client queries.
Requirements:
- 1.1 in Graduate degree preferred, Minimum 2.1
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in accounting/tax/business/law is advantageous but not essential.
- Prior experience in the tax sector is advantageous but not essential.
- Willingness to pursue professional tax qualification.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication skills and a team player.
- Experience working with Excel, Word etc.
