As part of its role in promoting a career in tax, the Institute is proud to sponsor several awards for outstanding performance in tax modules at various third level institutions. Below are the photographs and details of the award ceremonies which have recently taken place in colleges throughout Ireland. The Institute would like to offer the winners a huge congratulations.

Alexandra Popescu was awarded the best performing student in the tax module of the Bachelor or Business (Hons.) in Accounting and Finance degree in TU Dublin (Blanchardstown campus).

Pictured at the recent LYIT graduation is Julija Ciubarova from Letterkenny.  Julija was conferred with a Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Accounting, and was awarded the Prize for Best Student in Taxation which was sponsored by the Irish Tax Institute.

Orlaith Flynn was awarded the prize for the highest placed student in the tax module of the MSc in Accounting in DCU. Pictured also is Shane O’Brien (Tax Manager, Irish Tax Institute) and Dr. Julie Bertz, Assistant Professor, Accounting and Programme Director MSc in Accounting.

Best student in Taxation in the Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting in GMIT this year was awarded to Fiona Mc Mahon.

Best Student in Taxation in the Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Accounting in GMIT this year went  Simona Bertasiute and Labhaoise Kennedy. (Simona in absentia)
