Our online Autumn 2021 courses are open for registration. The Diploma in Tax lectures commence in September, and the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and the Tax Technician lectures begin in October. These tax courses will consist of a blend of recorded online lectures, live-online lectures and a student discussion forum. Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA)

Diploma in Tax

This programme is designed to meet the needs of accountants and finance professionals who want to expand their tax knowledge while simultaneously fulfilling CPD requirements. Upon completion of the 10-month online programme, holders of the Diploma will have a solid grounding in tax and be familiar with the current compliance rules in an ever-changing tax landscape. Tax Technician

The Tax Technician qualification is an entry level programme where participants learn the fundamentals of tax. The successful completion of this practical, flexible programme will enable participants to work across a range of tax compliance roles. The qualification is offered in a modular structure so that you can work towards attaining the qualification at your own pace.

Who is the Tax Technician qualification for?

The Institute’s Tax Technician qualification caters for:

  • Accounting Technicians;
  • book-keeper and payroll administrators; and
