Due to ongoing growth, we are currently seeking to recruit a Tax Manager to join our tax team in our Dublin office, with excellent opportunities for career progression. The role offers a mixture of compliance and advisory work providing significant and varied experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A qualified tax professional
- 2-5 years post qualification experience
- A strong technical knowledge across a number of tax heads
- A proven track record managing a team of professionals
- Experience in managing a compliance portfolio and providing tax consulting advice
- Excellent project management skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication ability
- Strong ability to delegate, manage and review the work of trainees and newly qualified staff
Main duties would include:
- Training and mentoring junior staff members
- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax, income tax and VAT compliance clients
- Liaising with clients, professional advisers and other relevant 3rd parties
- Dealing with consultancy assignments including assisting in the preparation of tax reports covering a diverse and interesting range of issues
- Presenting and developing business development initiatives
