Your role

In providing tailored solutions to the individual needs of our clients, Mazars tax examine and offer a comprehensive range of tax services to national and international clients with a particular emphasis on helping them to structure their businesses and financial affairs tax efficiently.

Mazars has one of the largest teams of tax specialists in Ireland and provides a full range of tax services to small and medium sized enterprises, private and publicly quoted companies and individuals. Our approach entails coming forward with ideas and solutions that bring added value to clients, based on a comprehensive understanding of each client’s particular business. We are part of the International Mazars organisation, Europe’s largest independent firm of accountants and advisors, and as such are ideally placed to provide advice on cross border transactions and international tax issues

We accept intern applications from a range of different backgrounds. While your academic background is of course relevant, what’s more important to us is how you apply yourself to your studies and to the pursuit of knowledge. You may have a background in engineering, business, law, science or economics- but what’s important is that you bring to the firm a willingness to learn and apply your skills in the best way possible. We can teach you the technical and business skills you need- but you also need energy and the right attitude to succeed.

Ideal candidate

  • Studying towards a 3rd Level Qualification
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Rigour and attention to detail;
  • Ability to operate in a challenging and dynamic environment;
  • Client focused;
  • Self-motivated with a confident outlook;
  • Strong quantitative and analytic skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Thorough and sound understanding of business sectors;
  • Good technical knowledge;
  • Ability to demonstrate competence and transfer knowledge to clients;
  • Demonstrate client interaction and client management skills
