Position: AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) Part Qualified Position
Browne Murphy & Hughes, Chartered & Certified Accountants & Registered Auditors were established in 1989 and currently have 5 partners and c. 17 staff. We are a small busy practice located in Dublin 2.

The Tax Department
Our Tax Department is mainly focused on Income Tax & Capital Gains Tax and our services typically include:
- Personal Tax compliance for Individuals and Company Directors.
- Personal Tax Planning.
- Employment Tax compliance & advisory.
- VAT compliance & advisory.
- Corporation Tax advisory.
- Gift & Inheritance Tax compliance for our clients and legal firms.
- Gift & Inheritance Tax Planning.
- Ad hoc consulting services.
Browne Murphy & Hughes Accountants currently have an opportunity for a part qualified Chartered Tax Adviser to join our tax team as a semi senior with the responsibility of managing your own client portfolio in the areas of compliance and tax advisory.
You will complete the Irish Tax Institute’s CTA exams as part of your training contract.
What we offer
We will provide you with continuous training and development throughout your contract which will complement the knowledge gained from your AITI Chartered Tax Adviser course. You will be offered full support in undertaking the Irish Tax Institute’s CTA exams.
Your role in our firm you will grant you exposure to a broad range of clients and business scenarios.
We are looking for an individual who is progressing through the exam process and is intent on qualifying as a Chartered Tax Adviser. The candidate must have the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure during busy periods. In addition, they must have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work within a team. They must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Revenue’s ROS system.
