About us:
Our Private Client team advises a broad range of clients on a number of different taxation issues. We specialise in advising high net worth individuals, owner-managed businesses and partnerships in relation to personal tax matters, succession planning, structuring ownership of investments and property transactions. We also provide advice to larger corporates and SMEs on management incentivisation and retention of key employees.
What does this role offer:
You will gain comprehensive experience across a range of PCS services including; high-end personal tax advisory and consulting services, tax authority intervention and audit defence, advising on M&A transactions from the management’s perspective, personal tax compliance for a diverse range of clients, input into management incentive plans for a number of corporate clients and advising on real estate and property transactions.
As a PCS Tax Manager, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coach team members and drive the team to make a difference and deliver results in a responsible, authentic and passionate manner.
- Be part of and contribute to the fun working environment offered by PwC and have an active role in training our junior and senior staff members promoting a learning culture.
- Bring business knowledge, innovation and insight to create value for clients and the firm.

- Set the tone in promoting risk management and compliance procedures. Operate and collaborate effectively with a mindset that transcends geographic and cultural boundaries.
- Work on attracting, developing and retaining the best talents for the firm.
- Directing and driving the success of multiple engagements.
- Be responsible for managing within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction.
About you – Key Competencies & Experience:
- At least 5 years experience in tax consulting and compliance services.
- Strong academic record with a Degree, ideally in accounting, economics, finance, or law, and AITI/CTA Qualified.
- Enthusiasm to work with our broad range of clients, to understand their affairs and needs and to work with them to address these needs and manage risk.
- Desire to learn and to apply the knowledge you gain from the regular training sessions we hold on topics that will impact our clients’.
- Be capable of working both within a team but also be capable of using your own initiative.
- Desire to learn and to apply the knowledge you gain across a broad range of deals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to personal learning and development.
