Position: Head of Tax
Working closely with the CEO and Senior Management, the Head of Tax will lead a team of tax professionals on a wide range of high impact tax consultancy assignments. Supported by a team of Tax Directors, Managers, Consultants, and Tax Admin staff, the role will involve planning and reviewing workflow, and driving efficient innovative output. Additionally, they will manage their own portfolio of challenging tax planning assignments.
Being a Mentor – People Development
A key part of the role will be building the next generation of ifac tax professionals, in addition to leading the Tax Team and creating a platform for people development, where excellence and integrity are core ifac values.
Other Key Responsibilities
As head of a key division within ifac, the Head of Tax will participate in companywide business initiatives and projects with a view to increasing revenue, profitability, and market share. As part of the wider Management team, they will have the opportunity to participate in a range of practice committees and will have the opportunity to influence the firm’s future direction.
Who will the Role Suit?
The candidate should have a number of years’ experience managing a large client allocation, covering all tax headings. They should have a passion for supplying tax solutions for “high net worth” and SME clients. They should have a tax qualification and an accountancy qualification will be a distinct advantage.
