Customer Service Agent – Tax Return at Cornmarket

Customer Service Agents are part of a team that provides Tax Return Services to clients. The successful candidate will offer administrative support to a busy tax team. They will also be responsible for day to day phone cover, answering general client queries and directing calls to Tax Return Service advisors as well as handling client policy administration.

Accountabilities of the Role

  • Process incoming tax return forms and supporting documentation effectively and efficiently within agreed timelines. Administer day to day requirements of our policy holders
  • Administer day to day requirements of our policy holders
  • Answer client queries and allocate client correspondence
  • Advise customers regarding their membership, benefits, process & progress over the phone
  • Have a professional and empathetic approach to customer queries
  • Build familiarity with client base
  • Handle complaints and communicate decisions by presenting available solutions and options, ensuring clients are treated professionally at all times
  • Ensure that information provided is correct, complete and up to date by consulting the relevant data source
  • To comply with risk control and regulatory requirements that are relevant to this role
  • To maintain commercial awareness relevant to this role

The individual filling the role as a Tax Return Service Customer Service Representative should be mindful that he/she is the first point of contact that a Tax Return Service customer will encounter. As such, it is imperative that the representative is professional, efficient and effectively portrays the ethos of Tax Return Service while on the phone.

When covering the various administration duties (such as writing to clients, filing tax returns with revenue, organizing and allocating important client documents) attention to detail and a holistic approach to the duties is vital.
