Walkers is currently seeking to recruit a newly or recently qualified lawyer or accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) to join their Tax team in Dublin. The successful candidate will report to Jonathan Sheehan, Partner and Head of Tax
The Walkers Tax team advise domestic and international corporations and financial institutions on a wide range of financial and commercial transactions, including debt capital markets, general corporate tax, investment funds, aircraft leasing, mergers and acquisitions, cross border tax planning and real estate work. The role will involve assisting in advising clients directly and in conjunction with other practice groups and will include ongoing training, mentoring and support. The successful candidate will work closely with the tax partners on a diverse range of tax technical matters.
Ideally applicants will be a qualified lawyer or accountant (NQ to 4 years PQE) and have passed or be in the process of completing their training to be a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and have experience working in tax in a recognised law or accounting practice.

- Previous experience in the area of financial services tax is an advantage but is not a necessity.
