Technology has transformed the role of a tax adviser. Tax advisers can now focus on adding value for their clients by working with cutting edge-technology and collaborating with their colleagues, rather than just number crunching. At the Career in Tax Fair, you can get unique insights and meet the top employers across Ireland to learn more about a career in tax and the opportunities that await you. Create meaningful connections with companies, recruiters and former graduates working in tax.

You can drop by their virtual stalls to see the opportunities they offer and you'll be able to live chat directly with the employers to find out what it's really like to work in tax.

Make a future you can count on!

Top Tips for Attending the Graduate Career in Tax Fair

Filling your profile to get the best experience

When you fill out your profile, add as much information as possible. The more information you provide, the better your experience will be because 1) firms check out your profile when you get in touch, 2) chat conversations can be more valuable as the recruiter can get an overview of your profile easily, and 3) the event will show you the most relevant exhibitors for you based on your profile information

It is advised to complete it at least 75% – you can add all sorts of information about your area of study, skills and what you want from a career. You can let the firms know your:

  • Name, nationality, and the language(s) you speak
  • Where and what you study/studied
  • The skills you’ve learnt and your work experience
  • Your graduation date
  • Your primary interests, job type (part-time, full-time etc) and job location

You can even write a short summary about yourself, describing who you are.
