Authors
Caitriona Gaynor is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and previously lectured in taxation of University of Limerick, BPP Professional and the Irish Tax Institute. Caitriona previously worked with EY in Dublin. She is as Associate of both the Irish Tax Institute and Chartered Accountants Ireland. 

Raymond Holly is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and lectures for Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology. He previously worked in practice with Grant Thornton and BDO and has lectured and examined extensively for the Irish Tax Institute, Chartered Accountants Ireland and for various private colleges. 

Pat Kennedy is a Senior Consultant in Indirect Tax at PwC. He has worked for 30 years in VAT with the Revenue Commissioners, in practice and industry.

Paul Murphy is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and Managing Director with Martin J. Kelly & Co. He is a member of both the Irish Tax Institute and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, is a corporation tax lecturer for the Irish Tax Institute and a speaker for the ACCA on their professional development panel. 

Margaret Sheridan is the Principal of Sheridan Tax Training & Consultancy. She is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and former Council Member of the Irish Tax Institute. She currently represents the Institute at the TALC Collections subcommittee. She has worked in the area of taxation for over 20 years, specialising in personal and employment taxes. She lectures extensively for the Irish Tax Institute, Chartered Accountants Ireland and third-level colleges.

Martina Whyte is an Associate of the Irish Tax Institute and Chartered Accountants Ireland. Past roles include responsibility for corporate tax compliance & planning for two leading multinational manufacturers. She also lectures in taxation for the Irish Tax Institute. 


Editors 
Patrick Mulcahy (Volume 1) is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), a Chartered Accountant and lectures at Dublin City University. He previously worked in practice with KPMG and has lectured for the Irish Tax Institute, Chartered Accountants Ireland and various private colleges.

Laurence May (Volume 2) is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and a graduate of NUI Galway, from which he holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a Master of Accounting Degree. Laurence is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Laurence is a Director with KPMG and is also a lecturer on the CTA Part 2 programme. In addition, Laurence is an Adjunct Professor in Accounting and Finance at NUI Galway. He has previously lectured on the Master of Accounting programme and Bachelor of Commerce programme at NUI Galway and the UCD Master of Accounting Tax Summer School programme. Laurence was also an external examiner in Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.
