Revenue Practice and Representations

Irish Tax Institute representatives engage regularly at a senior level with Revenue on ways to improve the structure and administration of the tax code.  We meet with Revenue several times a year directly, through the national Tax Administration Liaison Committee (TALC) and regionally through our unique Revenue Branch. We also make written submissions on key issues for our members - a list of which are available here. Members are updated on our representations work through TaxFax, regular electronic bulletins, the Irish Tax Review and our seminar series.

In this section of the website you will find information on:

    • Our interactions with Revenue at local and national level.
    • The key current issues in tax administration, together with Institute guidance.
    • How to get involved in our nationwide Revenue Branch and make your views and experiences known.
    • Upcoming events and seminars for your region.
